Richie McDonald of Lonestar, Larry Stewart of Restless Heart and Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas Form Country Music’s Newest Supergroup
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 22, 2018) – Trio veteran hit-makers, The Frontmen, featuring Larry Stewart of Restless Heart, Tim Rushlow, formerly of Little Texas and Richie McDonald of Lonestar have independently released their debut single “If It Wasn’t For The Radio” and announced an accompanying tour beginning February 3. The tour will kickoff in Mississippi and visit Oklahoma, Arizona, Minnesota and Nevada with more stops being added through the Spring. Fans can listen to the single on Spotify and Apple Music and purchase it on iTunes or Amazon.

“If It Wasn’t For The Radio” was written by Kellys Collins, Austin Cunningham and David Fenley and was produced by Brent Rader of Brent Rader Productions. With a tip of the hat to radio opening the doors to their own successful careers, these individual talents combine their unique voices to create a magical blend of harmonies and heartfelt sentiment that is sure to touch the hearts of country fans everywhere. The song was featured in an exclusive first listen by Billboard.

“To find a song like this that speaks to who we are, why we do what we do and why we’re here, with honesty and a huge dose of real life, is incredibly humbling and moving!” states Larry Stewart. “At this moment in time, we couldn’t have found a more perfect song for Richie, Tim and myself to sink our hearts into. Because I do not believe we would be where we are today, if it wasn’t for the radio. Truly a gift!”

“Over the past few years I’ve been honored to share the stage with Larry Stewart and Tim Rushlow as we perform our hit songs from our respective bands, having the opportunity to record a song like ‘If It Wasn’t For The Radio’ with these artists takes it to another level.” Richie McDonald states. “This song was perfect for The Frontmen to record, with each of us singing a verse and a chorus and lending three part harmonies just sends it over the top. We all three relate to this song and the story that it tells, I think that’s what makes it so special”

“The Frontmen are definitely special. There is a common thread that runs through us and our catalog of songs and I am honored to share the stage with these two amazing singers,” says Tim Rushlow. “From multiple global tours performing for our military in Japan, Afghanistan, Spain, Greece, Kuwait, Bahrain, Germany, Italy, Cuba, Africa and on several aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf – to shows across America for our fans from Kansas City, to Cerritos, California to Gulfport, Mississippi – it is always humbling when the people sing our songs back to us, never missing a lyric. That is simply because radio has embraced us and the music we have all made over the years. Radio is why we’ve had these amazing careers. So, it is entirely fitting that we finally get to record a great song from the heart and give a nod of thanks in their direction.”

Radio programmers are excited about the new single with veterans weighing in with praise for the single:

“Take three of the greatest voices in country music, add them to a brilliantly written song, sprinkle in some glorious harmony, and you get “If It Wasn’t For The Radio.” Don’t overthink it, just PLAY IT!” states Tom Baldrica, Corporate Country Brand Strategist / Midwest Communications

“Like a well-blended cocktail, using only the finest ingredients, The Frontmen deliver a smooth and tasty groove with an infectious hook, and a real country song. ‘”If It Wasn’t For The Radio”’ is what country listeners are starving for and they deserve to hear this awesome tune! “says Chuck Reeves, Program Director. MADAME TUSSAUDS NASHVILLE UNVEILS LIFE-LIKE WAX FIGURE HONORING RANDY TRAVIS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 1, 2017) – Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction that opened its Nashville location in April, officially revealed their newly minted Randy Travis wax igure on December 1st during a special event honoring the country legend. Photos from the reveal are available via Dropbox.

To capture the Country Music Hall of Fame member’s likeness, Travis underwent a “sitting” with Madame Tussauds studio artists in Nashville. The research team took more than 300 measurements while Travis himself donated personal items of clothing to create a true likeness.

The figure is dressed in late 1990’s style featuring a suede embroidered jacket, jeans Travis donated himself and a 1991 Gibson J-185 guitar.

“I have been excitedly waiting to see the figure in person,” said Travis. “The Madame Tussauds team did a fantastic job capturing my likeness and I can’t wait for my fans to stop by the attraction to see it for themselves.”

After 40 years of dedication and influence in the country music genre, Travis’ legacy will be immortalized by the figure on display at Madame Tussauds Nashville.  Randy’s wax figure will be the 50th figure in the attraction and the last one introduced for 2017.

Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons, to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.

With a completely different concept, the attraction in Nashville is the company’s first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America’s musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Blues and Pop.

Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Carl Perkins, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Diana Ross, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, George Jones, George Strait, Hank Williams, Jason Aldean, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Kid Rock, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, Muddy Waters, Patsy Cline, Rayna Jaymes & Deacon Claybourne, Reba McEntire, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and Waylon Jennings.

ABOUT THE BELLAMY BROTHERS:
Howard and David continue to prove that the trail they’ve ridden to fame has been as unique as their music itself—music that is now celebrating 40 years of success. The road that started on the pop music charts in the ‘70’s, took a winding turn into country music in the ‘80’s, paving the way for duos to come, such as Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Big & Rich, and The Judds. “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me),” originally scrawled on a dinner napkin by David, rocketed them to the top of the country charts the way “Let Your Love Flow,” had done in the pop market just a few years earlier. It proved to be the first of a string of fourteen No. 1 singles in the U.S. alone. They’re the only U.S. country music act who’ve toured in India, Sri Lanka, New Caledonia and Qatar. The Bellamy Brothers hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) for the most duo nominations. Numerous Grammy nods have also been directed toward the brothers. For more information, visitbellamybrothers.com.

He also enjoyed incredible crossover success — his 28 Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 10’s is sixth-best all-time, and fourth-best among men, trailing only Elton John, Neil Diamond, and Elvis Presley. Rogers’ smash hit, “The Gambler,” became a TV movie, starring Rogers himself in the title role as Brady Hawkes. The movie spawned four follow-ups, making it the longest running miniseries franchise on television and launched a second career for Rogers as an actor on television and film.

The album includes 12 traditional country songs, combining classic duets, along with never before heard all-original music. This must-have album is released via Upper Management Music, and fans can purchase American Grandstand HERE.

Both artists have continued to generate buzz with American Grandstand, recently securing features on The Boot, Music City Roots, Nashville Sports & Entertainment Magazine, Nashville Country Club, Sounds Like Nashville, Roughstock, Nashville Access and more. Vincent will also appear on Heartland TV’s “Bluegrass Ridge,” where she will be the guest host for 4 consecutive weeks, beginning the week of July 10. Vincent and Singletary are also giving fans an inside glimpse of tracks from the latest album with exclusive videos featured on The Country Note, The Daily Country, Roughstock, Nashville Country Club, Lovin’ Lyrics and more.

Fans got the first taste of American Grandstand with the lead single, “One.” The dynamic pair originally performed the song together in 2016 at the legendary Grand Ole Opry, which ultimately led them to record the song, originally made famous by country icons George Jones and Tammy Wynette. Each track includes their unique spin with their feel-good, distinctive vocals.

In addition to upcoming tour dates together, fans were treated to multiple performances as both artists teamed up for CMA Music Fest in Nashville, which was included in Rolling Stone Country’s 20 Best Free Concerts. Fans can catch Vincent, who the Wall Street Journal dubbed “The New Queen of Bluegrass,” at festivals and venues throughout North America, while fans in central Europe will get a chance to catch the most award winning band in bluegrass music, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, when they return in September (see dates below).
